What information CastGrip collects, why we need it, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need, and we never sell your personal information.

This Privacy Policy explains how CastGrip (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles personal information when you visit castgrip.com, contact us or use our IPTV service. 2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact details: your WhatsApp phone number, your email address and the name you choose to share with us.
  • Order details: the plan you choose, the date and amount of your payment, and the device or app you use, so we can set up your account.
  • Messages: the content of your WhatsApp chats and emails with our support team.

Information collected automatically

  • Service data: your login name, IP address, device type and connection times, used to deliver the streams, apply the one-connection rule and prevent abuse.
  • Website data: basic technical information such as browser type, pages visited and referring site, collected by our hosting and security tools.

Payment information

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not see or store your full card number. We only receive a confirmation of the payment and the basic details needed to match it to your order.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • send your free trial and login details and set up your account;
  • process your payment and keep records of your order;
  • answer your questions and give technical support;
  • keep the service secure, stop account sharing and prevent fraud;
  • tell you when your plan is about to end, if you want us to;
  • meet our legal and tax obligations.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that have legal effects on you.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We only share it with:

  • Service providers that help us run CastGrip, such as hosting, streaming infrastructure, email and messaging (including WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta) and payment providers. They may only use it to provide their services to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
  • A new owner, if CastGrip is sold or merged, in which case this policy continues to apply.

5. Cookies

Our website uses only the cookies needed for it to work and stay secure, such as caching and security cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics or marketing tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account and order information while you are a customer and for up to 24 months after your last plan ends, so we can help with renewals, refunds and questions. Payment records may be kept longer when tax or accounting laws require it. Service logs are kept for a short time, usually no longer than 90 days. After that, we delete or anonymize the information.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and secure passwords. No system is 100% secure, so please keep your login details private and tell us right away if you think your account was used by someone else.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • withdraw your consent or opt out of marketing messages at any time;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your information (we do not sell or share it).

United States: residents of California and other states with privacy laws can use these rights under their state law. We will not treat you differently for using your rights.

Canada: under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and provincial laws, you can access and correct your information and withdraw consent. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

9. Children

CastGrip is meant for adults. You must be 18 or older to order a plan, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has given us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. When we transfer information, we take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected as described in this policy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make important changes, we will tell active customers by WhatsApp or email.
